How to Downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.4/ iOS 6.1.3. Complete Tutorial

Recently many people have upgraded their idevice to iOs7 without knowing the bugs and restrictions that follow. Whether it be application support, messaging bugs or battery issues. If you are one of them and want to downgrade from iOS7 to iOS 6.1.3 then follow this step by step simple tutorial.

Supported Devices :
  • iPhone: iPhone 5*, 4S, 4, 3GS
  • iPad: iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2
  • iPod Touch: iPod Touch 5Gen, iPod Touch 4G

1: Turn your device off, Connect it to PC via USB cable and launch iTunes.

2: Place the iDevice into DFU mode, with the device off, hold down the power and home buttons together for 10 seconds then release the power button, continue holding the Home button until iTunes notifies you of a device in recovery mode detected. The devices screen should stay black as it turned off.

3: Now Restore within iTunes through either method a or b:
a) Restore from the iOs 6.1.3 backup you made prior to installing iOS 7 Beta.
b) Restore to iOS 6.1.3 IPSW by Option-Clicking the “Restore” button, after that restore from iCloud backup when finished.

4: Let iTunes restore back to iOS 6.1.3 , then device will reboot when finished. Actually you can’t downgrade iOS versions this easily, but because Apple is still signing iOS 6.1.3 this allows you downgrading to commence with minimal effort.
